which software version do you have ? that sounds like an issue we had a long time ago.

That is our latest version. Have not worked on this old vehicles after the last update.
Will check tomorrow to see if is just yours or a softwate glitch. Have you tried both
ways from the auto scan and control module?

Ok just did a 2003 pt cruiser with no problems at all everything worked perfect on both
controll unit and auto scan. try uninstalling your chrysler software and installing it
again. Make sure you are under an update period before doing so.

 I know my DS708 required a Chrysler Adapter to deal with older model years, not sure if the Maxi Sys has any need for one or not .

My chrysler software said configuration fail. Autel is getting bad. My suzuki didn't
work on Reno 2007. Last month a new update still didn't work. Gm software mess up,
7.01 fix it but not very well on abs .

  sure. from the main screen click on data manager then on apps, click on the chrysler logo, mark it ,then on the upper left corner you will see a recycle bin, click on that to remove it, exit that screen. after that go to update and you will see chrysler  available for download again. good luck. remember although  my software worked fine on the vehicle i checked does not mean the software is fine, I only checked one vehicle.
